Chartis named iluminr a Disruptor in Risk Intelligence and Data Management in its RiskTech100® 2027 research. The recognition points to a question more organizations are asking: what can we learn about our ability to respond before a real disruption puts it to the test?

Congratulations to the iluminr team on its first Chartis recognition. It is a meaningful moment for a company working to make resilience capability visible.
The category is interesting. Risk intelligence has traditionally meant knowing more about the threats around an organization: the events, exposures and dependencies that could cause harm. That information matters. So does knowing what happens inside the organization when people have to make decisions under pressure.
Consider what a scenario test can reveal. Who notices the first sign of trouble? Who owns the decision to escalate? What information gets lost between teams? How does a third party’s recovery timeline change the plan? A well-designed exercise brings those questions out of a document and into the open. Repeated across teams and scenarios, it can show where capability is growing and where the same friction keeps appearing.
That is the work iluminr has been building toward. Its platform helps organizations run scenario exercises and microsimulations more frequently, involve more people and capture evidence of how they respond. The value is in what teams can learn from that activity and use to improve the next response. A plan may describe the intended handoff; an exercise shows how people actually handle it.
For leaders, this changes the conversation about resilience. It becomes possible to ask where decisions are consistently delayed, which teams need more practice, and whether improvements made after one exercise hold up in the next. Those are useful questions for management and boards because they connect investment and oversight to observable behavior.
At Eudai, we are interested in how markets recognize a new way of doing familiar work. Resilience teams have always prepared for disruption. What is changing is the ability to turn that preparation into a clearer picture of organizational capability. Chartis placing iluminr in Risk Intelligence and Data Management is a signal that this kind of evidence is finding a place in the wider risk technology conversation.
Recognition is a moment to celebrate, and this one reflects years of work by the iluminr team and its customers. The more lasting opportunity is what organizations do with the insight: practice, see what happens, make a change and find out whether it works the next time.
